You can also use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard, so that bu* will find "BUS", "BUSINESS", "BUILD" and so on. Spellings are based on British English not American English .
No punctuation is used, and insignificant words (like "is", "the" and "of") are not needed. Definite and indefinite articles (eg " the", "an" etc) are removed as that first word of titles.
Author, Title and ISBN/APN searches are alphabetic from the starting point, which you specify as the search text. Therefore typing Paters will yield 'Paterson A', 'Paterson A B', 'Paterson K', etc.
Author searches should be structured as Shakespeare, NOT as William Shakespeare
